Beginning March 1, 2019 our sick visit price will be increasing to $75.
$50 Sick Visit – A sick visit refers to common acute illnesses. Common acute illnesses include: sinus infection, strep throat, allergy symptoms, bronchitis, urinary tract infection, rashes, gastroenteritis (stomach bug), pink eye, etc. We realize many people have high deductibles or no insurance. We are here to help. Please Call 214-544-8686 to make your appointment.
Injections if needed or preferred can be administered for a reasonable cash price.
*Patients must be at least 10 years old. We are not equipped to treat children younger than this. Injuries, wounds, prescription refills, chronic medical or psychological conditions are not sick visits. High Blood Pressure is an example of a chronic medical condition. What we do not do
WELL WOMAN EXAM
I feel strongly that a well woman exam should be done by a gynecologist.
PEDIATRIC WELL EXAM
I feel strongly that children should see a pediatrician for well exams. However, I will be happy to take care of your sick child over the age of 10.
I am not a pain management specialist. I can and will help you during an acute injury, but if long term narcotics are necessary, you will be referred to pain management.
Motor Vehicle Accidents
Involved in a car accident?
Motor vehicle accidents can cause serious injuries and serious pain. Many general physicians do not care for patients suffering from injuries related to motor vehicle accidents. Personal insurance typically will not cover medical care related to a motor vehicle accident.
I will gladly complete a physical exam and develop a treatment plan to help reduce your pain, inflammation, muscle spasms and insomnia related to your injuries.
We offer multiple vitamin injections based on patient needs and goals.
- Methylcobalamin (Activated B12)
- LipoLean (fat burner + B complex)
- Lipoden Extreme (fat burner + athletic performance enhancement)
- L-Carnitine (fat burner, lean muscle mass enhancer)
What does Therapeutic Ultrasound Treat? Muscle Sprain, Strain or Spasm
- Trigger Point Pain
- Back Pain
- Joint Pain
- Scar Tissue
How Does it Work? The ultrasound probe uses deep vibration and heat to relax tight muscles, improve blood flow, increase injury healing, and reduce pain. Chronic injuries are improved through the increase in blood flow and building of new capillaries.
How Long Does it Take? 3min to 15min depending on the area treated.
Micronutrient Testing is a service provided by SpectraCell Lab. We will draw your blood and send it to them. Results will be explained and interpreted at your follow up appointment.
Micronutrient testing measures how micronutrients are actually functioning within your white blood cells. These tests allow your nutritional assessment for a broad variety of clinical conditions, general wellness and the prevention of chronic diseases including arthritis, cancer, cardiovascular risk, diabetes, various immunological disorders and metabolic disorders.
Trigger Point Injections
Trigger Point Injections are used to treat painful, tender, tight areas of muscle. Trigger points form when the muscle fails to relax. They contribute to muscle pain, muscle spasms, headaches, fatigue, and this can interfere with daily activities and sleep. A Trigger Point Injection consists of a small needle inserted into the trigger point injection a local anesthetic (lidocaine, procaine, bupivacaine) and a steroid. Sometimes just a local anesthetic will be used. Once injected, the trigger point relaxes and pain subsides. It may be necessary to perform multiple treatments.
Headache & Migraine Care
A migraine history, migraine treatment history, medical history and physical exam are administered to develop a preventive and rescue plan for each individual patient. Migraines are complicated and have many triggers. The goal of treatment is to reduce the frequency and severity of migraines.
